Hi,
Will first state that I am a total linux newbie - installed SuSE 9.0 3 days ago.
Have been trying to install a linuxant driver for my hsf modem but I run into an error message stating I need to have the kernel-source package.
This doesn't seem to be available on the CDs I have (I have the SuSE 9.0 personal set). I checked the package descriptions at suse.de for the professional edition and I think the file I need is kernel-source-2.4.21-99.i586.rpm which doesn't appear to be available on the suse ftp site or anywhere else.
Not sure if I'm looking for the wrong file entirely / if I could use a different kernel-source package (I see a 2.4.20 or a 2.4.21-121) / if I'm looking for something which is only available to buy as part of the pro edition...
Can anyone advise?
Lily

Put in CD1 and go to (as root)yast2-install software, then look for kernel in the search option. -- Gerrit Jan Eldering SuSELinux 9.0 KDE 3.1.4-48 Kernel 2.4.21-99
