Carlos, you didn't say it, but I am sure you installed the "Spanish rpms" in addition to the Enlish ones. I am thinking of:
books_es-2002.05.07-94 RPM for noarch howtoes-2002.9.6-6 RPM for noarch ispell-spanish-1.5-25 RPM for noarch
Ah, yes, of course. But not the SuSE manuals: I installed them for a while, then removed them. But programs are installed in multiple languages (those that support it), and it is up to each user to select the default language he wants (environment vars). I mean, each user can have a different language.
And so forth, Also knowing you, you also re-ran: KDE Control Center ---> System Administration ---> Help Index
Well, perhaps, but I don't use kde much; I use SuSEconfig -module susehelp, which is about the same.
I wonder if s Gómez Labougle did the same? If not, that may be why "is not possible to change everything if you did the installation in other language different from english."
Could be. Also, in SuSE 8.1 there is a bug in those scripts that causes the indexing of help files not to work. It has been commented here, and it is listed on the unofficial SuSE FAQ. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
