Hi, I would like to be able to temporarily open and close access through my firewall for a specific IP without taking the firewall down and back up again. Is this possible and how would I do it? What I am thinking is being able to send via e-mail a specifically formatted message to an account on the machine. Have something like procmail parse the e-mail and if it meets the programmed criteria to open the firewall for a specifically referenced ip address for either a time period or until I close it.
