When I configured my wireless I used the standard .802 drivers. Try it out! :-) On Sun, 2003-09-28 at 08:41, Erik Jakobsen wrote:
Hi.
I have just installed SuSE 8.2 on my Fujitsu/Siemens C6155 Lifebook. As I have a D-Link DWL-610 wireless pcmciacard, I was searching the SDB for the subject wireless, and found something that could be used.
With reference to the article, I did start up a tail -f /var/log/messages, and plugged in the wireless card into my Lifebook.
The message was:
Sep 28 10:24:33 linux /etc/hotplug/pci.agent[1700]: ... no modules for PCI slot 06:00.0
Then, what does the fellow do now. As I dont know what module is being used, its useless to run a lsmod module or ?.
Well maybe its the message for the pcmcia cardslot ?. Then its an IBM I can remember in the shadows. -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards. Erik Jakobsen - eja@urbakken.dk.
