I think what he is trying to say is that the YAST-1 interface is used with the TAB and ENTER/RETURN keys. Use TAB to choose fields and buttons, ENTER to make choises. I installed SuSE for server usage on a Pentium 200 with 48mb of ram last year. On Friday 26 September 2003 02:23, Hipolito A. Gonzalez M. wrote:

We just loaded SuSE 8.2 on a 266mHz Compact Pressario with 48mb of RAM. YAST2 stops due to insufficient memory, but the old YAST-1 is still right there inside, just an option you must request from the menue. It is all text, TAB key and RET, but we could pick-and-choose software. Stay off KDE and OpenOffice. Use fvwm2 (or others). Use Abiword.
BTW, my 14-year old says "fvwm2 is the first desktop advancement since W95" :-)
He started on an Amiga, uses W-boxen because of the games, but isn't locked into their desktop world.
goodddddddddddd. But, if you try to start up a system with 8.0 or 8.2, you obtain a kernel panic for memory. How to swith to yast1? I love yast1 I don't understand TAB key with RET? What key is this? I started with a Commodore 64, and after, my super commodore 128. I have it, and running! Floppy 1571 !!! About 400 games!!!! CPm. hahahahahaha
