What kind of issues do you get when running 4496 ?
Black screen on CTRL-ALT 72 to F6, and a blinking multi-coloured screen on CTRL-ALT-F1 and when rebooting or shutting down.
There must be some bad voodoo going on here ... Im now getting the same problems , and only on the machien with the latest k_athlon kernel . And Im 99.9% sure that I did not have these problems a week orso ago ...
As I said in a message several days ago, I suspect that it all has to do with fact that the nVidia driver has not caught up with the *20-100 patch of the athlon kernel but patched kernels *20-98 and below are no affected. Please check if what the patch number of the kernel is on the your machines now suffering from the dreaded Lugrie.
