I just noticed that on gkrellm, and also ksensors, the voltage for +2.5v is reading at 1.1 to 1.2. Before I go out and try a new power supply can someone tell me if the multiplier is 1, or is there a conversion between ac and dc that needs to be done. I forget my EE principles, I think it was multiplying 1.414 or dividing by .707 in order to get the peak mean voltage. But this would only fall in the 1.5v range. I have had drive problems with a cdrw and a dvd in the past but the problems went away after i purchased a UPS to clean the dirty power that plagues my apartment. What would the symptoms of a power supply not producing 2.5v be? TIA -- Franklin Maurer Using SuSE 8.2 Pro
