Hello all,
I'm trying to make a copy of a CD using K3b and when I hit the Copy CD button I get the following error messages after "Start reading..."
No cdrdao driver found Please select one manually in the device settings. For most current drives this would be 'generic-mmc'. Cdrdao returned an error! (code 1) Operation not permitted Please send me an email with the last output...
Any help will be appreciated. -- +------------------------------------------

Jose, Go into your k3b Settings>Configure K3b...>Devices There you will see the listed drives available on your machine. Notice there is a Cdrdao driver: there. It probably lists a certain model drive in that listing. Click on that driver name and you will notice that suddenly a drop down menu appears to you. Select from that list the generic-mmc or generic-mmc-raw driver for each drive listed and Apply that. Now you should be able to copy if the cdrw is scsi emulated.
