Thats fine for single directorys. What about building ISO for multiple directorys.
I may be a little outdated. Personaly I use this little marvel called Midnight-Commander to transfer all directories I want to burn on the same CD-Rom in one single directory then I make an image of that directory (with mkisofs or the GUI you prefer). Sorry if I did not understand what you asked.

I am trying to burn CD's with MP3 which will read in all OS including 16bit DOS/windows, winblows and *nix. I have tried both joliet and rockridge with ISO1, ISO2 and ISO3 none read in all three. All this with K3B in SUSE8.2. What other settings should I check.

Hi,
cdrecord -v -eject speed=* dev=*,*,* /dir/image.iso
should work (in root).
First make image with:
mkisofs -J -r -T -v -V label -o /dir/image.iso /dir_to_burn
-J : Joliet -r: *nix -T: MsDos
Check man page and SCSI address of CD-Burner with cdrecord --scanbus (dev=*,*,*).
Good luck
