OK I will give that a shot. Can another version of jave live beside the existing one or am I going to have to change some things?
Both the Blackdown and Sun Java packages are on the installation media and they will co-exist without problems. SuSEconfig will set up a link to one (most likely Blackdown) as default, but the other one can be used by packages which need it (like some releases of Mozilla.) HTH Dylan
