When I switch from xp to Linux with the KVM my mouse behavior on the Linux box is completely wasted. Everything jumps around and the mouse goes nuts. Completely unusable.
I have been doing some reading that says that I should make sure I don't have more then 1 mouse driver loaded. How can I check this In Suse?
Has anyone else had similar problems. If so what did you do to rectify them.
The mouse is the USB version going through the USB -> ps2 adapter that came with the mouse.
How does the mouse behave if you boot Linux with the mouse attached.
I've had this kind of trouble with a Belkin KVM, switching between PCs running Win98. When I spoke to Belkin, they claimed it was a grounding problem between KVM and PC. They sent us some new leads with GND disconnected, which seemsed to work okay. Nope, I didn't expect it to work either, but it seemed to. Might be worth giving Belkin a call. Arthur
