Hi all,
I would like to upgrade my Netscape v4.8 to Netscape 7.x on SuSE 8.2. Should I remove the current version, or just install the new one over the other? Also, will this effect Mozilla, and if so, any hints on how to deal with this? Thanks all!

Anthony, Since the Netscape 4.8 was installed by your SuSE, it will have a different path than the Netscape 7.x you download from their site. So unless you just want two copies, I think you can safely remove the older version. Some keep both until they are sure everything works with the new though. The biggest difference, other than features, between the old and new will be the plugins, as they are different between these versions. Since Netscape is based on Mozilla anyway and usually behind it in revisions, one has to wonder why bother with Netscape?
