I have the intention of buying some kind of smartphone soon and I wonder what is the best one to synchronise wiht Linux: Palm OS or Symbian?
I'm unaware of any software to sync Symbian, even the old Psion OS tools (Symbian being derived from Psion) only provided an FTP type interface IIRC. However, there are a plethora of tools for Palms, GNOME tools, KDE tools, stand-alone tools... Not sure that would be guaranteed to work with a smart phone as opposed to a PDA, but I don't see why not... -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2).
