what you want is "Samba", check if you have installed this package.
Main samba-config-file is /etc/samba/smb.conf or just /etc/smb.conf,
start it with 'rcsmb start' (and if not both are started with this
script: 'rcnmb start')
If you just want to share directorys like in windows98-style, I
recommend setting "security = share" in smb.conf and a anonmyous share
is added somehow like this:
[myshare]
path = /anydir
guest ok = yes
To access other win/samba-machines use smbclient & smbmount.
