OK, I just got a Creative Labs MuVo and managed to figure out (to an extent) how to put files on it. Now to advance. How do I make an mp3?
I know I can download them, but I want to make some of my own.
You need to rip the tracks from the CD, using cdda2wav or cdparanoia or similar. Then you convert the resulting wav files to mp3 or ogg with lame or similar. Grip is a nice tool that does all this for you. -- Andre Truter Software Engineer Registered Linux user #185282 ICQ #40935899 AIM: trusoftzaf http://www.trusoft.za.net ----------------- < A dinosaur is a salamander designed to Mil spec >
