Hi Ben, I agree!! But I think it has to do with how well 8.x is working. Think back a year or two; there was lots more "This piece of SuSE is broke" or "I get these wierd results when I..." But I must say only one or two of us has realized the way to benefit from the SCO thing is to do some day trading on SCO while it still has some grip on the presses imagination. I'm certain that this is exactly what the desperate dozen at the top of SCO are doing before the industry and the press finally realize that SCO and UNIX itself are superflous and un-needed. While I know that IBM can go as far as bribery when needed, in this case they just have to wait for SCO's case to implode of it's own in-sufficiency. My WinModem won't work because I called US Robotics and got them to send me a REAL COURIER instead. They had been so stung by the WinModem fiasco that they had a quiet policy to replace them for those who complained. AND I bet M$ didn't re-imburse them even $1 Keep Smiling ..................... Is it my imagination or do we spend more time discussing SCO vs. IBM then discussing SuSE lately. hmmm. I so wish this crap would just end so we can have some more rants about " Why SuSE doesn't give iso's. " or " Why doesn't my WinModem work. " *grin*
Ok..back to the news. heh
