I have a SuSE work menu on my panel and I would like to add items to it, but I can't figure out how. Kmenuedit doesn't show it. If I right button on it I don't get the an option to add to it.

Right click on the "K"/start icon, choose menu editor, find work menu in question, edit at leisure. If unable to find said icon/s then got to the settings option in the menu at the top of the menu editor and choose from the drop down list (only one option I know of) and put a check mark in the "show hidden items" options.
