Alan, my problem turned out to be a totally different problem. I edited the XF86Config and found that my keyboard was setup as "de" I guess i goofed on the installation and caused myself the problem. I too am working on the blue screen with suse. Yet I dont find lilo.conf in the location from the post you did. WR On Sat, 2003-06-14 at 14:08, Alan Wardroper wrote:
See my earlier post - my install keeps losing the keyboard too, and I'm not using any odd hardware like the switch you mentioned. Anyone else seen this sort of behaviour? Know a cure?

Hello all, I'm new to Suse but not so new to linux. My problem is this, I have a KVM switch that I share between 3 PC's. One is Win2K, second is KNOPPIX a debian port and last but certainly not least is Suse, I can keep the keyboard maps on the 2K and Knoppix but SuSE is changing some way or another. For instance my @ turns into a " after a few hours of no use.
Is there a patch I need to get?
