Gar Ulbricht suggests that the documentation might not be installed. It is installed: all but one ("howtoenh") of the "YaST2 | Selections | Help and Support Documentation" little boxes are checked.
Peter --- Good -- did you try "rebuilding your help data base" ??? After downloading new "help" rpms I often rebuild mine, even though I have the box: "automatically rebuild databases" checked In addition, Are you running KDE desktop, and if so, do you have a "red and white life preservor" on your bottom "task bar" ? What happens when you click on it? Should ge SuSE help

Do you also have a KDE help icon (I don't know what it looks like, I changed mine to a penguin -- but if you go slowly across the bottom "task bar" it shold spring out at you and it should say: "Help" and when you click on it you get: Chapter 1. Welcome to KDE KDE Help Center which is different "Help" from "SuSE-help system" You should if all the SuSE and KDE help is installed. ################################################### **** However I just reread your original post ***** ###################################################### KBEAR - is A Graphical FTP Client for KDE, SuSE help doesn't cover "applications" !!!! Even if you have all the SuSE help installed, "kbaer" won't be there --- You probably do have all the SuSE help info loaded -- "kbear" info is part of Kbears program -- which I don't have on my system -- if I did I could start kbear and I am sure that there is some form of help --- (click upper left corner on "help" button) or if I had the kbear rpm --- "pin kbear" would also give me some info as would "/usr/share/doc/packages/kbear" Or you can go to "kbear" website -- which you did.
