I don't know what you mean with 'low-end desktops'. Which model? We are using HP XW4000 Intel based (P4) workstations. They work perfectly with linux. In fact, HP has certified this machines for SuSE. This machines are former Compaq machines (Compaq Evo W4000). Regards Harry

Both Dell and Hewlett Packard have low-end desktops with the same video chip. but otherwise different from one another.
I am familiar with Dell's low-end cpus. Has anyone onthis list an opinion of the low-cost Hewlett-Packard desktops as vehicles for Linux?
Thanks
