Yes, we do decide what warrants an immediate update and what not. The policy is rather simple: only serious and/or security bugs will be fixed for released distributions. It's a simple question of resources.

Understandable, but the question is: If Suse supplies 3.1.2 packages via the supplementary-directory, do they also fix serious issues for these and distribute them via YOU? The qt-issue with 3.1.2 and Yast-software-installation would be one exapmle? I do not have that thread anymore, otherwise I would ask Philipp. Sven
