I don't know how to look the source code of a package in source rpm format, without recompiling and installing the binary code. I know that "rpm --rebuild *src.rpm" unpacks the code but it also compile and installs. I don't need to compile and install. I just need to read the source code of a program in the package. How can I do it?
Install it with rpm -i, and look in /usr/src/packages/{SOURCES,SPECS} -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.
