system. Last night when I was trying online update I got a series of error messages referring to either corrupted files (update files) or GPG (??) not correct.
Edit /etc/sysconfig/onlineupdate Set the foloowinf line to: YAST2_LOADFTPSERVER="no"
This will bypass that step.
You should have a file: /etc/suseservers
That file contains the list of servers. If you don't have it I or someone else can post it. Then try to do a YOU.
Thanks. I did that and restarted the module and this time it quit without displaying any message at all. I do have the /etc/suseservers file and it has a list of servers in it. The module comes up, asks for root password and upon accepting that shows the outline of the YOU screen without displaying the "insides". At that point it quits. I have also just noticed the same thing happening with my jpilot program: opens the outline of the graphic but not the "interior", then just stops running. Any relation? Is there maybe some other graphic type program that is being subverted? Richard
