Take a look at SCO's stock price lately, and you'll see one immediate
winner of this fiasco.

I was discussing this matter with a friend of mine today. I wonder if this is more of a marketing ploy rather than an actual threat. The term "there is no such thing as bad publicity" can kind of be used here. On one hand they're getting their name out in world more than ever, but they might be dirtying themselves in the mean time. Novell came out and said put up or shut up and there was no real reply to that. I'm thinking there's more to this than just the copyright and licensing thing...but what it is, I don't know.
Marketing ploy???????
Just a thought.
