Look in the accompanying CD that came with your mobo. There is a Linux driver available in 8201 directory (IIRC) and a readme that gives instructions on how to install the needed driver. I think the driver is called rhinefet. Compile it, install it, enjoy! -Stathis. zer0 Kode wrote:
Greetings! I am having BIG troubles with my SuSE 8.2 network, as it looks like the network support is broken on my HW configuration:
- MB: GA7VAX (Gigabyte) - Onboard: Lan and sound (both disabled; Enabled external both) - All USB ports enabled (6 of them) - ATI TVWonder / LE - Sb Live! 5.1 - nVIDIA GeForce4 MX440
NOw; This exact configuration is working perfectly in SuSE from 7.3 'till 8.1, Gentoo, and Slackware 9, bun in 8.2 there is something wrong with my network adapters (It detects them, but the autonegotiation checked with the mii-tool is broken). I have tryed everything that I could think of, but I just can't find a solutioin for this to work...
Anybody having any ideas?
Regards. ~W.
