I wonder if SCO could be sued for slendering the open source community?
My wife thinks I could use some slendering. Seriously though, and I don't think I've piped in on this topic yet, I believe the longer IBM is quiet about this the worse it will be for SCO. I'm sure IBM isn't about to lie down for anyone - especially as insignificant a company as SCO. That being said, I'm more than a bit disturbed by Microsoft's announcement that it will license Unix code from SCO. This could be a double edged sword. While it could help Windows, it could just as easily damage Unix/Linux on the whole. -- John LeMay KC2KTH Senior Enterprise Consultant NJMC | http://www.njmc.com | Phone 732-557-4848 Specializing in Microsoft and Unix based solutions
