Dial in works, but konqueror and Kmail not recognised!

      Sirs,

Kinternet and Kppp dialers work perfectly, but Kmail and Konqueror simply do
not connect with the host. Konqueror throws a box onto the screen stating  
'UKLINUX.NET host not known'. I have inserted DNS numbers into the URL slot 
in Konqueror's browser; but still no success.

I have been searching the pages with no avail and writing this on a diffe=
rent system.

Any ideas please !!!!!!!!!

I have just installed (third time in hope) SuSE 8.2 on a Celeron 500 with 256m
ram.
