HI, I've found a bug affecting to 3.3 release but not to current SuSE 8.2 gcc compiler. It affects to a SSE2 code (calls to intel intrinsic SSE2 library). See: http://gcc.gnu.org/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl?cmd=view%20audit-trail&database=gcc&pr=10504 So, I am a guy not upgrading to 3.3 release until this bug were fixed. I ain't deaf, so you needn't cough *that* loud :)
Since 8.2 was released with a pre-released version of GCC 3.3 does it contain all the bug fixes...etc..etc. that the released GCC 3.3 have?
Nope, there have been further fixes going into 3.3, though not all relevant to the ia32 platform.
Will there be an update?
We will make GCC 3.3 (release) packages available, though not as a regular update but most probably under /pub/projects/gcc or similar. There will be an SDB article coming along with it.
