I'm using 8.1.
I want to install gnucash, yet I have to travel all the way back to version 1.6.6-77 which is a SuSE rpm for 8.1(current is 1.8.3 as a SuSE or RH rpm or a tarball). This older version gives me the least amount of deps for the install. The only dependency that I'm left with is that 'scheme' is needed. I'm kind of lost at this point, because I find so many programs and libs related to scheme, yet...
I'm also using 8.1 and I recently installed GnuCash. I'm not in front of that system right now so I can't tell you the version included on the 8.1 distro but I installed it from the Suse 8.1 distribution CD's using YAST and everything went fine, no problems with dependencies. Matt
Do I need 'MIT Scheme', or 'Scheme48', or, or...???
TIA
