So has anyone with a Radeon 9700 Pro got 3D acceleration working under 8.2
yet?
Im using the latest drivers from ATI.com but had no luck.
My other computer with a 9100 seems to be fine !
(maybe because that card is just a rehashed 8500)
Thanks
Rob

Supported yes, fully suppored no. To get accelerated 3D support you have to get the binary drivers for the latest ATI and nVidia cards. The older cards do have accelerated support with the open drivers in Xfree86 4.3.0.

SuSE Linux comes with drivers for common cards including the following:
* ATI: Radeon 9000/9500/9700 * nVidia: GeForce 4, GeForce FX * Matrox: G450/G550
??? Aren't those ATI cards fully supported then? Anyone having problems with them in 8.2?
