An external USB2 drive is connected to a computer running SuSE 8.2. It is manually mounted after booting as the operating system does not recognise the drive until the USB driveres are loaded. After mounting, YaST2 was used to export the drive which is mounted as /media/usb_linux. The drive is exported with "rw" flag so that it can be modified by a remote computer also running SuSE 8.2. However, on the client pc none of the directories on the USB drive are visible no matter how the flags are set. Does anyone know how to export USB drives using NFS? Regards.
