Dear fellows,
Once more I'm back on this list .... With a serious problem ... I got a comparatively new TV card, which is Hauppauge WinTV-PCI-FM Modell #718 On SuSE cdb they say that Hauppauge cards work. Mine doesn't :-(( I tried with 8.1, it didn't work, so I decided rather to wait a couple of weeks for 8.2 and then retry, hoping that it would be autodetected by YaST in 8.2. It is not ... the same as it was with 8.1 :-( Has someone got an idea about how to proceed? Manual setup in YaST gives you a choice of four different types of Hauppauge cards, and a bunch of tuners. None of the four types of Hauppauge work if I select 'default tuner'. Is there something special about it? On the tuner itself on board the card it reads: 'PAL-BG 34514 REV E142'
Cheers .... Wolfi ============================================= mailto:wolfi_z@gmx.net
