Hotplug scripts? Where do they go?

I'm trying to connect my Sharp Zaurus PDA to my desktop running SuSE 8.1. I want the hotplug to setup everything when I drop the Zaurus into the cradle. I have everything seemingly working right, but for some silly reason SuSEFirewall2 has to be restarted after the ethernet connection for usb0 is configured. Does anyone know where one would put a script that would be kicked off at this point (the point the handheld is dropped in the cradle and the driver hotplugged or whatever happens then) so that I can restart the firewall that way?
