Do you have a DOS driver for your CD rom installed in your autoexec.bat and/or the old config.sys file? DOS does not recognise CD roms without some drivers. Good luck. --doug At 01:18 03/19/2003 -0400, Dejan Batic wrote:
I understood that as well as you can install SuSE Linux from FTP you can actualy have all the files on your DOS partition and do the installation much faster. So I have downloaded files, I burned boot CD image and started instalation pointing to a folder on my C drive but I always get the message
"No hard disks were found for installation Please check your hardware"
after language selection. And istallation is aborted.
I've tried with "installation=..." parameter, searched the Support DB but I have found NO solution for my problem. Of course, I've tried with one and with two hard disks with same outcome.
Is there solution for this, please?
