Hi everybody. I have a Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 that I'd like to use on my SuSE 8.0 box. I can use MoTV to view the stream, but then I don't get to use my Hauppage TV card (since the Webcam takes over the input to MoTV.
I'd like to use Camstream, but when I try to build version 0.26.2 from the source tarball, I get the following error:
make[2]: Entering directory `/tmp/camstream-0.26.2/camstream/gui' /usr/local/bin/uic -o ChannelSelector.h ChannelSelector.ui make[2]: /usr/local/bin/uic: Command not found make[2]: *** [ChannelSelector.h] Error 127
Apparently I build camstream without /usr/local/bin/uic. What is uic, and where can I get it?
Does anyone know where I might find an RPM of Camstream that would work on SuSE 8.0 Pro?
Perhaps someone can suggest a different approach.
Hi Jay, Someone else had the same exact problem, and I have no clue what it means. I have Camstream-0.26.1 working perfectly on my 8.0 system. If that version is still on the download place, give it a try instead. If it isn't, email me, and I can send it to you email or put it on my web site for you to download. It's 1.5MB. John
