Hey all, I have a rather annoying problem here. I have OpenOffice 1.02 [downloaded from their site] running on a SuSE 8.1 machine, connecting to a CUPS printer on another host [SuSE8.0, Samsung ML1650 laser printer]. Now here is the story: o Created a spreadsheet, printed it out in portrait, all is fine. o Created a graph, printed it out in portrait, graph too big to fit on page, so I: o Change the printer settings to "Landscape" in the OpenOffice printer administration program. o Reprint the document, but it is still in portrait. o Had heard problems with CUPS and landscape mode, so thought "Oh well, not to worry" and shut it down. o Later on tried to do something similar, but print in portrait mode [having set it all back] and now all it does is print in landscape mode!!!!! o Open up YaST printer admin on this machine, do the test page and it is in portrait mode, not a problem. o Open up OpenOffice printer admin, do a test print, it is indeed in portrait mode too o Open up document and try to print. It comes out Landscape format again. By this point I am using rather more expletives than I would care to admit, and decide to write to you lot, hoping that someone can offer some light on the matter. I really need to get my stuff printed off in portrait mode! How annoying it is that it won't ;o). I haven't tried OpenOffice writer yet to see if it exhibiting the same annoying behaviour, but my main thing is getting this bit sorted ;o) Any help is GREATLY appreciated :o) Thanks in advance, Jon
