So if someone could please let me know just what i am missing between the Professional and the Personal version of SuSE 8.1
Lots of software on the distro disks, including developer libraries. But the basic system is the same. So I wouldn't think there was any point buying the 8.1Pro version - wait for the next decent system upgrade, which might be 8.2 or might not, depending on your needs. Look at the improvements and listen to comments here and elsewhere, would be my advice!

Thanxs John for your comment but I will get the 8.2 anyway for a number of reasons. First it has the new kde 3.1onboard, second, I love surprises, and third, supporting the developers and community so that we can get even better systems in the future ;-) The most valueable Treasure you have, lay within you.
