I know , it's stupid, but I can't find any utility , not even the one "named" to show images from Kodak cds.. I used to be able to do it, w/ 8.0 , I'm pretty sure... what have I missed ?
<aside> Is it just me or is yast2 somewhat spazed out , when it can't tell a later update ( from the Suse website ) from an earlier one that needs to be updated? Really that is annoying, it happens every time I try to install or update or whatever, the only thing it wants to do is delete the newer file for an older one...
( last updated yesterday, so there isn't anything too weird waiting to be fixed or picked up , I shouldn't imagine ) <heavy sigh>
too blonde, and too frazzled by upcoming road trip to figure this out myself.. I need to run a batch of handout photos that are on the cd tho.. so I'd appreciate it if some kind soul took pity on me this once . j ====================
J, Do a search in YaST2>Install/Remove software for photocd and see what you are missing to work with those image types. I found a converter, but didn't have my libs installed for viewing them. That may be your bug as well Patrick --- KMail v1.5 --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.1 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
