Hi, I'm trying to compile directory administrator 1.3.4. SuSE stock rpm is 1.1.9 and it's rather old. I wonder who have put such an old version for what reason. It lacks several features for managing Samba PDC as the author says. The problem I'm facing is when I try to configure, I get the following error. ./configure --prefix=/opt/gnome .... .... checking for gtk-config... /usr/bin/gtk-config checking for GTK - version >= 1.2.0... yes checking for SmcSaveYourselfDone in -lSM... yes checking X11/SM/SMlib.h usability... yes checking X11/SM/SMlib.h presence... yes checking for X11/SM/SMlib.h... yes checking for XpmFreeXpmImage in -lXpm... yes configure: error: conditional "HAVE_ORBIT" was never defined. Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally. Gnome is in /opt/gnome and orbit is in /usr/bin Does anyone have a clue on how to overcome this? I've seen several posts about compiling gnome apps on suse with the same error but couln't ind any answers. Or does anyone know how to regenerate SuSE friendly configure script with autoconf in such a case? Kindest regards, Oyku
