I've heard it will allow you/her to watch the ->Quicktime movies in Linux. IIRC, it is ~$30, much cheaper than Micro$oft. If you have to use the actual quicktime player instead of mplayer or something else then I would agree with the other person how posted about Codeweavers CrossOver plugin. It works REALLY well and let you use most of the good Windows browser plugins such as Quicktime. I've been using it since version 1.0 and it's had like 5 revisions.
