Too me, i think alotmore people would use Linux if hardware vendors werent penises about supporting it with drivers, i was at te store the other day, granted this is NOT the place to buy computer stuff, but there was only like 2 printers there that would work in Linux, its sad, because you almost know for sure these places that build hardware run some UNIx varient for development, i think if more computers could come pre installed with something YOU choose, then we could see what people like, i know me if i could, id have about 300 computers and servers, i just love PCs and servers, id have a system with free BSD, SuSe Linux (of course!!!!!) Open BSD, and Windows XP or 2,000 or 98 SE, now why that odd mix? simply because i love playin with systems, i own Free BSD, but i dont have it installed, i have like over a grand in OSs (yes i actually bought the Free BSD power pack, i actually bought mandrake Linux and caldera Linux, and i bought BeOS, and i bought red hat even though i never even booted it, and i bought Suse Linux, which i have to say has to be a favorite of mine) some people think im nuts for buying my *NIX stuff but to me, i like letting the people at SuSe know i appreciate there efforts and so i payed for it and thats why i bought all the Oss i have:) what do you all think? do you think im right and more people would try Linux if more than one OS was offered or you were allowed to choose the one? -- Kill the lights, let the candles burn behind the pumpkins’ mischievous grins, And let the skeletons dance.
