Solution to email attachments made with MS Office

Greetings! Turns out it's not KMail that was my problem in opening attachments sent to me from people using MS Office. It was the actual attachment itself. MS Outlook encapsulates the headers in its own format. Seems as if Yerase's TNEF Stream Reader solved the problem. I tried tnefclean as a filter in KMail but that didn't work. Hope this helps another person save some hours.
