Is it logical that lib/modules/uname -r/build is 0 kb? If so, while excecuting rpm, why am i promted to copy /boot/vmlinuz to lib/modules/uname -r/build/include, as directory include doesn' t exist? uname -r ->2.4.19 gb Should i create a directory named build? The uname -r bit is actually supposed to be in "reverse" apostrophes - `uname -r` This means that the "command" inside the ` ` is executed and the result substituted in its place. You should find a directory called /lib/modules/2.4.19-4Gb/build/include [if uname -r results in 2.4.19-4GB] or whatever your actual kernel is. So: cp /boot/vmlinuz /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build/include/
[note the ` ` ] would copy /boot/vmlinuz to : /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/build/include/ on my machine. Hope this helps! Jon
