I get the following message when I try to boot SuSE 7.0 and the computer locks up. I can use the rescue disk to mount the drive and correct the problem. Please help.
Boot from rescue CD check to see what (if anything) is in the files /sbin/init.d/boot and /sbin/init.d/rc both require /bin/sh to be executable as well
I searched Google and couldn't get a decent answer. I didn't understand the SuSE data base answer to this problem.

(and keep repeating the above lines)
