Call me jealous. I didnt know they still made changers though TEAC is an excellent brand. Where did you find it? As I recall from the days of the 4x4 series each counted as a seperate drives but only one could be accessed at once. A poor hardware limit of the Nacamichi changers also sold as NEC and no one else corrected it. It might be necessary to create your own KDE icons but they might have to run to shell scripts to manually unmount the other drive and mount the new one. Perhaps a simple work arround with a system variable call it $Mychanger which would resolve into which drive was currently mounted and another call it $NextDrive which is the one to be mounted. Hello list,
I have searched but not found what I want to know.
I have a TEAC CD-C68E 6-disc-changer and want to mount these 6 volumes to the dirs /mnt/cd/1...to /mnt/cd/6
Now, how do I tell the drive which CD to mount into the mountpoints 1 to 6? It is /dev/hdb but I cannot address like I would do if the 6 discs were partitions.
Thanks for help and experience-exchange. Happy 2003!
Yours, Olli
