I'll try that again! What are the errors, if any, are you trying to mount the audio CD? Can you browse the CD in konqueror? Does the drive have a headphone socket and can you hear anything through that? Is the audio cable connected to the correct drive?
I cannot mount the audio CD. I can mount data cd's. The drive is working ok in WIN98SE, and yes I have tested the headphone socket, and it is working ok.
The audiocable is connected correct.
I think in my case its the /DEV/CDROM, and that audio cd's will not play, as my DVD that should have been my CDROM in fact IS called my CDRECORDER.
The audio program that you're using to play the CD is it calling the correct device, in your case CDRECORDER? If you put an audio CD into each drive and play which one do you hear? Erik, use the list as I'm only having a guess at what the problem may be. As soon as the world comes back from Christmas someone will come along and give better advice and a resolution. As for me I've been summonsed and will depart very soon for my first non working Christmas in nine years. :-))) Merry Christmas, -- del 8-)
