Hi there, I am having problems with my cdrw/dvd drives... Currently, suse has set up mount points for them in media... drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 2002-12-21 14:47 cdrecorder drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 2002-09-12 23:14 cdrom drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 2002-12-21 14:47 dvd drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 48 2002-09-12 23:14 floppy However, these do not work properly. The only one that mounts is cdrecorder, but that mounts the dvd drive! Attempting to mount the other drive (there are only 2), i get a message similar to : /dev/dvd: Input/output error mount: I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified For some odd reason, there is a /dev/cdrom and /dev/dvd, but they just give me the error above too. I can mount the drives using the following : mount /dev/sr0 /media/dvd mount /dev/sr1 /media/cdrecorder However, i need a more permanent solution. How do i change the default mount points in /media ?
