Marshall, Glad you got the 1250 to work at all as I believe that was the one model that Epson strayed from their normal chipset to an odd one. I forget whether it was xsane or kooka that came the closest to using the negative adapter, but I don't think either ever got that far yet. What you need is the scanning program from Epson to use on your setup. They still use Sane as the backend, but give you a much better gui frontend that enables all the features of your scanner. I am including it with this mail, as I don't remember the site you need to go to right now. This should help you quite a bit enjoy your scanner more.
