HELP! Uninstalled CUPS and can't boot into KDE

I was having problems with CUPS so I decided to uninstall it via Synaptic so that I could try the whole process over again. Now, all I can boot into is this FVWM. I don't even know what it is??!!! Anyway, I don't remember clicking on anything other than CUPS and CUPS related items. When the uninstall was over, I couldn't run anything!! Please help! I want my KDE. Thanks, Tom
