Paul, Did you also enable the xdmcp entry in http://susefaq.sourceforge.net/xwindownetworking.html on Togan's Unofficial FAQ? Don't know if it's the right thing for your problem but it's best to do the basics first. Damian Moore, Paul wrote:

Curious. *This* time, I get it in the broadcast dialog (I've done this before, with what I thought were the same settings, and it didn't), but I still get a blank X screen.
Actually, after a *long* delay, I get an error: "XDMCP fatal error: Session failed Session 324064002 failed for display oem:0: cannot open display". That's very odd - what is "oem"? It isn't my machine name, nor the server machine name. And it's not in any of the Kea X configuration dialogs.
So we're getting somewhere. But where, I don't know :-)
